Overheard at a funeral lunch....

(yes, I had a funeral today)

Woman from family: We have pie. And we cut it crooked, so that it doesn't have any calories!
1st Woman at my table: What you eat at church NEVER has any calories.
2nd Woman at my table: I have to start going to church again!

What do you think? New evangelism method?

Funny. "Come to our pot lucks. Our pastor prays the calories away."

Too bad God is such a stickler for the truth.

It could work big! I believe denial is now taught as a marketing tool in ivy league business schools. Especially since it's working so well in politics.

If that's true even I might go to church again. Alas, I think it's true like the "truth" that global warming is a myth and the economy is sound.

God help us all and pass the pie!

I just came back to the office from a cafe where one of the desserts today was buttermilk chocolate pie...sadly, I think that "unsanctified" one had calories in it.

Whatever gets people though those doors. But I have to be honest...I think that calorie thing is a fantasy...(looking at my gut)...yup...fantasy.
