Remember when it was eighteen below last winter?

.... It got up to 95 degrees today. I think it was 90 degrees by ten this morning. It feels kind of like a Finnish sauna right now.

Storms are moving through again. Scout is hiding behind my husband's chair, and panting.

I hear a few bolts of thunder.

If the power goes out, I will check in with you later.

It was "only" 93 degrees here today.

Hope you keep your electricity. Poor Scout.

We lost our electricty to the first Monsoon about a week ago...along with a freezer full of food...sigh...

I thought I was leaving the humidity and awful storms behind...but alas, we get them here too...no tornados really, but wind, rain, lightening, and power outtages....

So. I really hope the weather calms down for all of you in the Midwest, soon!

It's been hot here, too. We've even had a few puny thunderstorms.....itty bitty boomers, not BIG BOOMERS.

Hope Scout doesn't get too scared.

We also had storms roll through twice yesterday. There were warnings for severe events that were north of us. At noon, the TV weather said that after the morning rain was done, it should be 85 degrees, but the clouds never cleared, so it stayed in the low 70s. The best thing is that we open up the house at night, gather the cool air, and then close everything in the morning, so we keep the house below 70 for most of the day when possible.

Hope your power stayed on and Scout survived the terror.

Hope you still have power, and that Scout held it together in her sweet doggy way.

101 two days in a row here. I don't know what the Finns would say about that but down here we call it hot.

Peace to Scout. I hope she wasn't too traumatized.

well here in Minnesota (which has Finns as well as the Germans and Scandinavians) we always say "it's not the heat, it's the humidity." but Friday, it was both.
