If you want to save money go to a thrift store or consignment shop. But having something that you are passionate about, well, that is priceless. Since I'm not a knitter, it wouldn't be knitting a sweater. But I'm into quilting and I'll tell you, I've spent (shhhhh, thousands) and I am passionate about it. You can't save money or make money if you buy the raw materials at retail price. But for me, it is art and artistic expression is priceless.LoieJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01977264499770654307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1086978161944568008.post-86555913962531609412010-03-14T14:05:20.849-05:002010-03-14T14:05:20.849-05:00elaine -- maybe if I were to knit that expensive s...elaine -- maybe if I were to knit that expensive sweater for someone else, then it would connect...Diane M. Imagine, the elder father running to greet the wayward young man. Imagine again throwing a party without even listening to the whole apology. The story throws a kink into being cautious and conservative. Of course, that has nothing to do with expensive yarn and sweaters...but it did make me wish...Elaine Denthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05277699063620071309noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1086978161944568008.post-32475110540938012712010-03-13T21:11:34.744-06:002010-03-13T21:11:34.744-06:00I am very impressed with your socks.
