PS - Me and Rowan are not so great. Our bat was rabid.

  4. Wow- what great photos! I love it. All of our animal companions... thank God.

Rowan and Lindy- not sure what happened but it sounds bad. I send prayers and light.

  7. Ginger and I are glad that your animal blessing service went well. I keep meaning to post some of the pictures of Ginger from our service a couple of years ago. I thought it was going to be an annual service but apparently it was a one-time event.

  8. Your pics are lovely, and I'm so glad your service was well-attended! Ours was quite small; I'll try to do better with publicity next year. I love the little girl with the big marmalade cat.

  9. I love the photo with the canary (and please don't take this the wrong way, but you are awfully cute!)

Thank you for sharing the photos!
I really enjoyed our blessing and I hope we can do it again next year. Father Keith has done a "Blessing of the Motorcycles" as well-what is the oddest blessing you have ever done?

  10. aghaveagh -- I'll have to think on the blessing question. We don't get asked to do blessings as much in our tradition (so for some people in my church, the animal blessing was a bit of a stretch). But I think there may have been a couple...

  11. ok aghaveagh -- never done an odd blessing, but in my first (rural) church, we did a blessing of the seeds a couple of times. I liked that.
