Ginger and I are glad that your animal blessing service went well. I keep meaning to post some of the pictures of Ginger from our service a couple of years ago. I thought it was going to be an annual service but apparently it was a one-time event.
Your pics are lovely, and I'm so glad your service was well-attended! Ours was quite small; I'll try to do better with publicity next year. I love the little girl with the big marmalade cat.

aghaveagh -- I'll have to think on the blessing question. We don't get asked to do blessings as much in our tradition (so for some people in my church, the animal blessing was a bit of a stretch). But I think there may have been a couple...

ReplyDeleteok aghaveagh -- never done an odd blessing, but in my first (rural) church, we did a blessing of the seeds a couple of times. I liked that.
